Thomas Boone Pickens, Jr. is an American business magnate and financier. Pickens chairs the hedge fund BP Capital Management. He was a well-known takeover operator and corporate raider during the 1980s. He has a 'Pickens' plan for wind, and Texas has a lot of it, but we hope he will make the plan a reality soon. He has the means, so he could undo the damage he caused. For now he is firmly for the desastrous Keystone XL pipeline. Don't listen to him ;-)
