There is a promotional wave to make people use vegetables that aren't perfect. Economically these wasted vegetables are not a problem, but ethically and environmentally they are. In france they are called Les fruits et légumes moche, and have their own isles. In other countries there are similar campaigns (like Kromkommer in Holland)
